What to Watch in the 2026 Result
- Can DG Khan stay on top? It led Punjab in 2025 with 62.37%, while Rawalpindi trailed at 43.46%. That 19-point spread between the best and worst board is the number to beat.
- The pass mark. Punjab has not notified the IBCC’s 40% pass mark for this result. If it applies, pass rates could fall. See our new grading system guide.
- Girls vs boys. In 2025 girls out-passed boys at every Punjab board, by about 13 to 22 points. Gujranwala had the widest gap.
- Humanities and English. Humanities (FA) was the weakest group at most boards in 2025, and English was among the hardest papers.
