BISE Lahore 11th Class Result 2026 Date and Time
Lahore Board releases its 11th class result on the same day as the other eight Punjab boards. For 2026, that is Thursday, 22 October, at 10:00 AM. Intermediate Part-I papers began on 15 June, about four weeks later than last year. Even so, the result arrives just one week later than 2025.

About BISE Lahore: History, Chairman and Jurisdiction
BISE Lahore is Punjab’s oldest examination board, set up in 1954. Before then, the University of the Punjab conducted matric and intermediate exams. The Punjab University Act (Amendment) Ordinance 1954 created the Board of Secondary Education, Punjab. It held its first examinations in 1955.
At first, the board covered Punjab, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and today’s Gilgit-Baltistan. It even ran exam centres in Kuwait and Nairobi for overseas students. As candidate numbers grew, new boards opened at Multan and Sargodha in 1968. Later splits created Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sahiwal boards, leaving nine boards across Punjab today.
Who Runs BISE Lahore in 2026?
BISE Lahore is a government board under Punjab’s Higher Education Department, so no private owner exists. The Punjab government appointed Engr. Dr. Badar-ul-Islam as chairperson from 1 July 2026. He previously served as a professor at Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and IT, Rahim Yar Khan. His deputation runs until 31 December 2027, ending two years of commissioners holding additional charge.

BISE Lahore 11th Class Pass Percentage Year by Year
Lahore’s 11th class pass rate has moved within a narrow band for over a decade. It peaked at 57.47% in 2023, then fell more than five points in 2024. In 2025, it recovered slightly to 53.77%. Meanwhile, the number of candidates grew by about 28% between 2014 and 2025.

More Students Are Scoring A+
The share of passing students with an A+ grade rose in 2025. It climbed from 14.94% in 2024 to 17.91% in 2025. The share of C and D grades fell at the same time. So more students are passing with high marks, even though the overall pass rate barely moved.

BISE Lahore 11th Class Result 2025 – Full Breakdown
The 2025 Part-I exam ran from 20 May to 13 June 2025. Lahore Board announced the result on 15 October at 10:00 AM. Out of 175,949 applicants, 172,100 actually sat the exam. Science students made up 108,269 of the applicants, with 67,680 in the Humanities and Commerce groups.
Group-Wise Pass Percentage 2025
Pre-Engineering had the highest pass rate, while Humanities & Others had the lowest. Commerce students, at 50.11%, did worse than all three science groups.

Subject-Wise Pass Percentage 2025
The gazette reports subject pass rates separately for each group. Among science students, Mathematics was the hardest paper, with a 66.36% pass rate in the General Science group. For Humanities students, English was hardest, with only 47.47% passing. Religious and language papers had the highest pass rates, led by Islamic Education at 97.37%.

Girls vs Boys at Lahore Board
Girls have outnumbered and outperformed boys at Lahore Board for years. In 2025, 103,259 girls applied for the 11th class exam, against 72,690 boys, and girls passed at 61.73% against 42.30% for boys. In 2023, girls passed at 65%, while boys passed at 48%. The gap was similar back in 2014, at 62.36% for girls and 41.86% for boys.

Regular vs Private Candidates
Most Lahore candidates study at a college and sit the exam as regular students. In 2025, 153,525 regular and 22,424 private candidates applied for Part-I. Private candidates are about one in eight of the total. The 2026 gazette will show how each group performed this year.
What Lahore’s 12th Class 2026 Result Says About 11th Class
Lahore announced its 12th class result on 23 September, a month before yours. Out of 189,373 candidates, 123,060 passed, a rate of 64.98%. That is the highest Lahore Part-II rate in three years. It suggests this year’s papers were not marked more strictly.

A better 12th class result does not guarantee a better 11th class result. In 2026, Lahore’s 12th class girls passed at nearly 75%, against about 51% for boys.
BISE Lahore 11th Class Position Holders 2026
Lahore Board names its top three students overall and in each group. For the 12th class this year, the toppers were named at 4:00 PM on 22 September. Two students shared first place with 1,158 marks, one from GCU Lahore. Expect the 11th class toppers around 21 October, following the same pattern.
