After the Gazette: Reappear, Rechecking and Result Cards
These rules are printed in the BISE Lahore gazette itself. They apply to the 2026 Part-I result unless the board announces a change.
- Below 33% in a subject? Reappear in it with Part-II next year. If you don’t, that subject is decided on your combined Part-I and Part-II marks. Islamic Education is the exception: it is examined only in Part-I.
- If you reappear in a paper, you give up your earlier marks in it, even if the new marks are lower.
- Medical Technology group: only Urdu and English can be carried into the combined total. Other Part-I papers below 33% must be retaken and passed with Part-II.
- Rechecking: apply online at biselahore.com within 15 days of the result.
Deadlines, fees and the online form for every board are on our 11th class rechecking guide.
